Update on Pastor Roy Lamberth: Doing better and improving!

brother royAn update on the improving condition of Pastor Roy Lamberth…

By Pastor Kris Freeman, Revolution Church

Pastor Roy Lamberth is our hero at Revolution Church and a patriarch and mentor for many people in the faith community in White House. He planted his church on the church property we own in 1981, and partnered with us to move our church here in 2012. At 89-years-old, up until last Sunday, January 7th, he was still pastoring his church which meets on our campus called Trinity Fellowship Church.

Last week, he suffered an issue with his heart which admitted him for care. Pastor Roy has been in the hospital for several days and is improving. His family is rotating to stay with him and his breathing, resting and energy has improved in the last two days. He will require further treatment as he returns home, but as of now he is still admitted and that decision will be made in the future. He is awake and alert and able to communicate well with his family and his spirits are great!

“Brother Roy” is the father of three Lamberth boys, including Coach Mark Lamberth of White House High School.

Please continue to pray for him and for his family. One bit of sad news to pass along, while he has been in the hospital, his wife Dot passed away on hospice care on Sunday and her funeral service will be later this week. He was unable to be with her at the time of her passing, but stayed by her side throughout her illness until he was no longer able.

Roy has been a hero to many in the White House community, so continue to pray for him and for better and stronger days ahead!

When he returns home, Revolution Church will pass along info on how you can assist and help the family with any needs.
